Abstract
We report new records of eight species of phyllostomid bats for the state of Mato Grosso. Two of them, Micronycteris microtis and Platyrrhinus brachycephalus, also represent new records for the Cerrado biome. Furthermore, we provide measurements and comment on their taxonomy and conservation. With these records, the Mato Grosso state and the Cerrado biome currently comprises 92 and 103 species of bats, respectively.
