AbstractWe report on the occurrence of Anoura caudifer (É. Geoffory, 1818) in northeastern Brazil and expand its known geographic distribution. The new records are from the Ceará and Bahia states. The record from Ceará is the first from that state, and the two new records from Bahia are from the northern part of that state. These records extend the known distribution of A. caudifer by 600 km in the eastern South America.
