The paper was originally conceived by VC, FMG, AG; IS. Study was designed by VC, FMG and IS. VC, SD and FD carried out the field­work. VC and SD processed collected material, VC, SD iden­tified the exemplars and performed the curatorial work, FMG identified and photographed the A. littoralis female. VC analyzed the data and made the distribution map. All authors wrote the final version of the manuscript.
